Kelowna and the Okanagan in general is a well known retirement locale.  And why not?  We are a 4-seasons playground, and one of the few areas of Canada that actually gets 4 distinct seasons!  Besides the obvious long, hot summers that so many come here in search of, Kelowna offers an abundance of other reasons for people to want to retire here.  Gone are the expectations that retirees only want to have lunch and nap.  This rapidly growing demographic leads a more active lifestyle than ever, and with a more expendable income, this group is a force to be reckoned with....
