Happy New Year from Predator Ridge!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly a year since I joined the team at Nyrose & Associates at Coldwell Banker Horizon Realty. What a great group of people and I love the way we run the business, always trying to think outside the box with a “Fresh Approach” to marketing and selling real estate!

Since joining the team, I have been concentrating my efforts at Predator Ridge, the golf course community between Kelowna & Vernon. It’s been an incredibly exciting year for real estate as Predator Ridge welcomed over 80 new owners in 2010. As far as golf, the new Ridge Golf Course was voted the “Best New Golf Course in Canada”.

What excites me the most after over 10 years in the resort real estate business is to see new homeowners “living the lifestyle”. Yesterday morning I was out touring properties with some folks from Vernon and I was so pleased to see our newest owners out snowshoeing the Birdie Lake Loop. It was an absolutely beautiful morning (it was cold) with fresh snow on the tree’s, blue ski and sunshine. They had rosy cheeks and were grinning from ear to ear.

Predator Ridge has done a great job in the past two years in creating a four season experience at the resort and have even added groomed trails this season for Nordic Skiing. There are four different trails ranging from 1km to 7km with a good variety of terrain for all levels of fitness. If you are not into skiing or snowshoeing, bring your sleds or ice skates and enjoy some family fun tobogganing or skating just steps from the Predator Ridge Lodge.

It’s not too late to take advantage of living the winter lifestyle at Predator Ridge. The developer is now selling their two remaining model homes. These “Move In” ready residences are very well priced at $383,000 for a 2 bedroom townhome overlooking the golf course (reduced from $479,000) and $535,000 for a 3 bedroom + den Villa overlooking Birdie Lake (reduced from $639,000).
