Dec. 2 – 5 to 8 p.m. – The Annual West Kelowna Light Up
The Town Centre light up in West Kelowna takes place Dec. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. With crafts, activities, a bouncy castle, hot chocolate, cookies and even a visit from Santa this is a wonderful family event in West Kelowna. Hear carols from Our Lady of Lourdes Choir, and St. George’s Choir, while watching Dance City Academy’s Tour Group in a festive performance. The lights go on at 6 p.m. View More Information.
Dec. 3 – Santa Arrives by Helicopter to Bylands Garden Centre in West Kelowna
This one isn’t a light up but for many families, it’s a tradition. Santa arrives by helicopter at Bylands Garden Centre at 11 a.m. Come a bit early, stay and shop and enjoy refreshments and Christmas cheer.
Dec. 4 – 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sip Into The Season on the Westside Wine Trail
Here’s one for the adults. The annual Sip into the Season on the Westside Wine Trail is a holiday-themed wine and craft tour featuring West Kelowna’s wineries and local artisans and crafters. it’s a wonderful way to ring in December. View More Information.
Ongoing – Christmas Light Tour
There are a variety of neighbourhoods and streets that do the holidays really, really well. Grab the kids, a cup of cocoa, put on the Christmas carols and hit the road after dusk. Keep an eye on Castanet.net’s Parade of Lights page, take a trip to Rutland’s Candy Cane Lane or visit Kettle Valley where there are always some remarkable holiday displays.
