WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS KELOWNA REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL?
WE ASKED KAREN SOME THOUGHT-PROVOKING QUESTIONS AND HERE IS WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY:
1. How long have you been in the real estate business?
2. How long have you been part of the Nyrose and Associates team?
3. What are the top three things that your past clients would use to describe you
4. What is a typical day for you?
I’m an early riser to take full advantage of the day usually starting with a walk along the lake in Peachland with my dog Roxy, then I spend my day working on real estate (sneaking in coffee dates with friends), cook a nice dinner and spend my evening enjoying my home.
5. Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
None that I am willing to share…!
6. Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, but I always knew I wanted to work with people to make them happy….and I feel like I have succeeded.
7. Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
Walking the beach in Peachland – in the summers followed by the Peachland market and then brunch at a local hot spot.
8. What publications do you regularly read?
I like an old fashioned magazine in my hand; and my go to is Chatelaine….a classic magazine for all woman.
9. What are you happiest doing, when you are not working?
I very much enjoy hiking, trying new Okanagan restaurants, going to concerts (especially outdoor ones), some gardening, and most of all spending time with friends.
10. What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
I seem to work with many single (newly divorced) individuals. I take pride in helping my clients find or sell a home during these difficult times. I try to reduce the fear and give encouragement that they can do this. I reduce their stress but dealing with stressful situations calmly and providing a positive and happy outcome for them.
11. Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
My ideal client is someone who is realistic and wants to excel in life. Someone who wants to have a nice home for themselves. I enjoy helping people set themselves up well so they will have a nice home and still be able to enjoy life.
12. If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Being so busy in real estate and going 24-7; I find I prefer vacations that require little thinking. Skiing and staying in a mountain cabin or relaxing on a beach while reading a good book is ideal!
