As we bask in the dog days of summer, we can relish in the fact that here in the Okanagan, summer extends well beyond August and there is an abundance of things to do. Hiking, biking, walking, jumping in the lake, paddling, water sports, golf... the list goes on. For those looking for something a little bit more unique to do in Kelowna, an instagram moment that leaves your following curious to follow in your footsteps, we've got a few favourites we know you will love.
Travel through the past and uncover some of Kelowna's most distinguished characters.
Discover the stories, events, and especially the characters that helped shape our city on this unique Kelowna tour, with both day and night offerings available.

You might have to self-guide yourself to discover Kelowna's best small wineries, but it's worth it. Some of our favourites include Beaumont Family Estate Winery, Nagging Doubt Winery, The Gallery, and Arrowleaf Cellars. Take the scenic route - The Westside Wine Trail, Sip South East Kelowna, and Lake Country's Scenic Sip but pull in at the smaller, lesser-known wineries to discover the people and stories behind your new favourite wines.
Bike the spectacular Myra Canyon Trail. Follow a section of the historical Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) on a well-maintained, and relatively level trail take in the beautiful views of the Canyon and the distant Okanagan Lake. You can rent bikes HERE.
