BEST VIEWS IN KELOWNA & The Okanagan

December 29, 2021

Being surrounded by the breathtaking views of Kelowna and the Okanagan is one of the many reasons we are lucky to call Kelowna our home. Whether it's an easy walk surrounding the lake such as the boardwalk at Waterfront Park or the reward of a stunning visual landscape after grappling up a mountain, natural beauty abounds here in the Okanagan.  Waterfalls. Wineries. Golf courses. Orchards. The Lake. The Mountains. All you really have to do is keep your eyes open to catch the unbelievable views of this place we love to call HOME.

The Best Views (and Hiking Trails) in Kelowna according to Nyrose & Associates

Elk Trail

Darcy Nyrose: I love the view from our backyard - it is my place to retreat and enjoy Kelowna with my family. My family, along with our dog Charlie, also love hiking Elk Trail, just off John's Family Trail in the Upper Mission.

Knox Mountain

Jennifer Williamson:  Definitely the top of Knox Mountain is the best..hands down. Plus when you’re at the top it’s all downhill after that 😉 My family and I also love the Maude Roxbury bird sanctuary just down the street. There is even a resident beaver.

Pin Cushion Mountain

Karen Mustard:  My favourite view in the Okanagan is Pin Cushion Mountain in Peachland - you can see up to Kelowna and down to Penticton. I've also been loving the trails around Tallus Ridge. Incredible views, and you feel really connected to nature.

Spion Kop

Danny KupkowskiMy new favourite view is from the Spion Kop hiking trails.

Myra Canyon

Rob Chapman: My wife Andrea and I love the views from Myra Canyon.

Okanagan Lake

Derek Nyrose: Okanagan Lake! My family and I love to get out and going fishing, enjoy the sun and some tubing!

ABOUT ‘AT HOME WITH NYROSE & ASSOCIATES’

Since mid-March, we’ve been called upon to Stay Home in an effort to help flatten, or plank, the curve and keep our hospitals from becoming over-run. And, we’re doing a good job.

Collectively, our community has been decorating our homes in hearts and messages that offer hope and support (visit whiteheartproject.com to send messages to healthcare workers and to download a heart template for your own home), children have been making beautiful chalk drawings on their driveways and sidewalks, people have dusted off the board games and puzzles, and have been tackling DIY house projects. Most are spending more time at home than ever before.

Here at Nyrose & Associates, HOME is our specialty. That’s why we’re creating a series of tips and ideas to help you AT HOME.
