As the world slowed down mid-march and through April, we were expecting real estate sales to do the same. After all, many people were focusing on physical distancing and trying to stay healthy; while others were suddenly out of work with impending financial strains.
We were off to an excellent start in 2020, and so as things slowly open up again, we're expecting the real estate market to see more action again, too. What you need to know is that real estate activity did not come to a grinding halt. There are still people buying and selling. There are a lot of people still looking.
Here at Nyrose & Associates, we're still taking buyers through homes (virtually and in-person with safe physical distancing measures in place). We're still getting calls, emails and website queries multiple times a day. We're still getting showing requests for our listings. Homes are selling; things are just moving at a slower pace.
