As we all know, if you are a Kelowna or Okanagan resident, your spare rooms are most likely full in the Summer months. So what do you do with your guests? We have put together our list of our FAVOURITE PLACES TO BRING VISITORS.
Entertaining your out of town guests can be fun and stressful, so having a list of things to do is a great way to keep everyone occupied. So put your Kelowna tour guide hat on and review the following list of things to do in Kelowna and maybe you can even be a tourist in your own town as well. It's fun to have a staycation in Kelowna with or without out-of-town guests.
DARCY: I love taking guests to the DRIVE-IN! The Starlight Drive-In located in Enderby is fun for everyone...all ages!
JENNIFER: I enjoy taking visitors to the El Dorado Hotel and Restaurant - their Lakeside dining restaurant on the patio/boardwalk is stunning and a great way to show off our Kelowna vibe by sitting on Lake Okanagan watching all the kite surfers and boats go by.
KAREN: My choices are walking along Beach Ave in Peachland or hiking Pin Cushion Trail in Peachland.
DANNY: I enjoy taking my guests and visitors for a scenic lunch at Quails Gate Winery - wine is wonderful, food is great and views are breathtaking....for sure a place people will not forget.
ROB: My favourite thing to do with visitors is to take them to the Okanagan Trestles for a cycle tour. This 80km tour takes you from the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail starting at the famous Myra Canyon, Kelowna to Penticton 80km. You get 5 rest stops with food and drinks; and when you arrive in Penticton you will be greeted with live music, bbq, beer, wine, cider and more. A serious perfect Okanagan day.
If you are wondering what to do with your visitors and guests when they come to town...hopefully this list of our top picks will help. Our beautiful city is filled with some of the best things to do in BC and so be sure to get them to experience all we have to offer.
